Bernard David Geller, MD PhD Allergy, Asthma and Clinical Immunology
Adult and Pediatric Allergy

Dr. Geller attended the State University of New York Health Sciences Center in Brooklyn. He received his Ph.D. in Immunology in 1967 and his M.D. in 1968.
He spent a year as a pediatric intern at The New York Hospital - Cornell University Medical Center in Manhattan. Following that year he went to the National Institutes of Health, Division of Biologics Standards as a Staff Associate, doing research in allergenic extracts and vaccines including Pertussis. He returned to pediatrics for two years at Los Angeles County - University of Southern California.
In 1972 he joined USC's Department of Allergy and Immunology as a Fellow. Dr. Geller has been treating asthma, allergy and immunology in Santa Monica for the past 32 years.
He has been recognized by Los Angeles Magazine as one of the 'best doctors' in LA and has been selected as one of the Best Doctors in America, annually, from 2007 to 20010 . He has published numerous scientific publications and was the recipient of the Consumer Advisory Council of Underwriter's Laboratories merit award for 20 years of dedicated service to public safety.
Dr. Geller is a Fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is Board Certified in Allergy and Pediatrics.
Dr. Raffi Tachdjian, MD, MPH Allergy, Pediatric and Adult, Asthma, & Clinical Immunology

Raffi Tachdjian, MD, MPH, is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics in the Division of Allergy, Immunology and Rheumatology at the UCLA School of Medicine. His research focus is on asthma and allergic inflammation. He is also a clinical trial investigator for asthma, hereditary angioedema, and chronic pain and inflammation.
Dr. Tachdjian’s work has been published in journals including the Journal of Infectious Diseases, the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, the Journal of Experimental Medicine, and the Journal of the American Medical Association. As epidemiologist in charge of Pertussis (Whooping Cough) at the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta, GA, he helped demonstrate the waning immunity of pertussis vaccine.
Dr. Tachdjian received his bachelor’s degree in Physiology from the University of California, Los Angeles; a Masters in Public Health degree in Epidemiology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham; an internship at the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention along with his Medical Degree from the Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. He completed his Pediatrics residency at Harvard Medical School’s Massachusetts General Hospital, and a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the University of California, Los Angeles. During his final year of fellowship, he also trained in Pediatric Pain Management at UCLA.
Finally, Dr. Tachdjian is involved with bringing music therapy to children with chronic and life-altering illness through a 501(c)3 non-profit organization he founded called the Children’s Music Fund (www.ChildrensMusicFund.org).
Dr. Tachdjian is Board Certified in Adult and Pediatric Allergy & Immunology and currently runs the asthma ‘Breathmobile’ for UCLA. He is on staff at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, St. John’s Hospital, and Santa Monica UCLA Hospital.
Marge Jones, Office Manager
A native of Los Angeles, Marge started her career in physician's offices after graduating from Lawson School of Medical Assistants. After spending ten years in this field, she began a new career at Blue Shield as a supervisor of claims. Marge stayed home for a few years when her children were young but returned to work as an insurance biller and office manager in 1990. She has been with our office for 15 years in this capacity.
