Biography
Bernard David Geller, MD PhD Allergy, Asthma and Clinical Immunology
Adult and Pediatric Allergy

Dr. Geller attended the State University of New York Health Sciences Center in Brooklyn. He received his Ph.D. in Immunology in 1967 and his M.D. in 1968.
He spent a year as a pediatric intern at The New York Hospital - Cornell University Medical Center in Manhattan. Following that year he went to the National Institutes of Health, Division of Biologics Standards as a Staff Associate, doing research in allergenic extracts and vaccines. He returned to pediatrics for two years at Los Angeles County - University of Southern California.
In 1972 he joined USC's Department of Allergy and Immunology as a Fellow. Dr. Geller has been treating asthma, allergy and immunology in Santa Monica for the past 32 years.
He has been recognized by Los Angeles Magazine as one of the 'best doctors' in LA. He has published numerous scientific publications and was the recipient of the Consumer Advisory Council of Underwriter's Laboratories merit award for 20 years of dedicated service to public safety.
Dr. Geller is a Fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is Board Certified in Allergy and Pediatrics.
Dr. Raffi Tachdjian, MD, MPH Allergy, Pediatric and Adult, Asthma, & Clinical Immunology

Raffi Tachdjian, MD, MPH, is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the UCLA School of Medicine. He also consults for adult and pediatric patients at 'Allergy and Clinical Immunology Medical Group' in Santa Monica, CA. His research focus is on asthma, hereditary angioedema, and inflammatory pain management. At UCLA's Mattel Children's Hospital Dr. Tachdjian is a member of the palliative care committee and subcommittee on policy. He also is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.
Dr. Tachdjian has published scientific articles focusing on vaccine preventable diseases, asthma, and immune deficiencies in various peer-reviewed articles in journals including the Journal of Infectious Diseases and the Annals of Allergy Asthma and Immunology. His experience also includes being an epidemiologist in charge of surveillance for vaccine-preventable diseases at the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention in Atlanta, GA.
Dr. Tachdjian received his bachelor's degree in Physiology from the University of California, Los Angeles, a Masters in Public Health degree in Epidemiology from the Univeristy of Alabama at Birmingham, and a Medical Degree from the Morehouse School of Medicine. He then completed his internship and residency in Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School's Massachusetts General Hospital, and a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Besides mentoring medical students and residents, Dr. Tachdjian's passion rests in bringing music and music therapy into the hospital through a 501(c)3 non-profit organization he founded called the Children's Music Fund. All proceeds from this organization are used to provide music therapy and instruments to chronically ill children (www.ChildrensMusicFund.org).
Marge Jones, Office Manager
A native of Los Angeles, Marge started her career in physician's offices after graduating from Lawson School of Medical Assistants. After spending ten years in this field, she began a new career at Blue Shield as a supervisor of claims. Marge stayed home for a few years when her children were young but returned to work as an insurance biller and office manager in 1990. She has been with our office for 15 years in this capacity.
