Dr. Geller


Bernard David Geller, MD, PhD
Dr. Geller attended the State University of New York Health Sciences Center in Brooklyn. He received his Ph.D. in Immunology in 1967 and his M.D. in 1968.

He spent a year as a pediatric intern at The New York Hospital – Cornell University Medical Center in Manhattan. Following that year, he went to the National Institutes of Health, Division of Biologics Standards as a Staff Associate, doing research in allergenic extracts and vaccines, including Pertussis. He returned to pediatrics for two years at Los Angeles County – University of Southern California.

In 1972, he joined USC's Department of Allergy and Immunology as a Fellow. Dr. Geller has been treating asthma, allergy, and immunology in Santa Monica since 1972.

He has been recognized by Los Angeles Magazine as one of the 'best doctors' in LA and has been selected as one of the Best Doctors in America, annually, from 2007 to 2018. He has published numerous scientific publications and was the recipient of the Consumer Advisory Council of Underwriter's Laboratories merit award for 20 years of dedicated service to public safety.

Dr. Geller is a Fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and is Board Certified in Allergy and Pediatrics.

Dr. Sandra Ho, MD
Dr. Sandra Ho is a native of Southern California and attended UCLA for undergraduate studies, completing dual majors in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics, and American Literature.

After several years of working in public health studying ethnic minority health disparities, she matriculated into medical school at Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC, and graduated in the top 10% of her class. Dr. Ho then came back to California for residency and completed training in Internal Medicine at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center.

She then went on to complete a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at one of the oldest and most well-established programs in the nation—the University of Texas Medical Branch. Dr. Ho has been a principal investigator on research involving novel biomarker exploration in asthma and also health-related quality of life in children with persistent asthma. Dr. Ho is board certified in Internal Medicine as well as Allergy and Immunology.
